The AFC is committed to providing education and community-oriented programming. Our regular programs and events include:

Design LAB: Learn and Build – an in-school educational program to introduce architecture and design to students in grades K-8 and promote design thinking.

ArchiTour Cincinnati – an architectural walking tour app available free of charge to the public. The app provides interesting and important information about the environment and buildings in Cincinnati.

Doors Open Cincy – an event that provides access to buildings that are not normally open to the public, allowing them to learn about and connect with the built environment.

SEEK Cincy – an architectural scavenger hunt that engages young professionals with the AFC and the rich history of the built environment of Cincinnati.

The Apple Award – a gala to honor an individual or group who have made a significant impact on the built environment in Cincinnati.

Great House Tours – an opportunity for the public to access and experience notable residences in the city.

Lectures and Programs – presentations from local leaders and experts to address important and timely topics in the community.

Construction Tours – guided tours of new and significant buildings during construction.
