UC Health Construction Tour

Join the AFC in partnership with Messer Construction Co. for a tour of University of Cincinnati Health’s renovation of the existing Emergency Department (ED).

As the largest construction project in the health system’s history, this project includes a 41,000 sf expansion and renovation of the existing ED at the UC Medical Center, comprising of a three-story patient tower above the new ED and a new four-story surgical building to add operating room capacity and improve flow. This ED serves as the region’s only Adult Level I Trauma Center, so it is critical that construction activities do not impede on ambulance, air-care, and vehicular traffic.

Dress: Attendees must wear hard hats, safety glasses, safety vests, and close-toed shoes – we strongly recommend bringing your own hard hats, vests, and safety glasses if available, but can be provided if needed. No one wearing open-toed shoes will be allowed.
